Cyaindalaran Druid tank

Post by cyaindalaran » 31 May 2012 19:58

Character Name: Cyaindalaran
Level and Class: Level 85 Night elf Druid (Night elf because of the miss chanse from enemys since im a tank)
Preferred Talent Specification: I prefer to play feral as tank. I have been trying all specs but the one i got stuck for is feral tank. I have been playing it since wotkl and Icc with a break from BWD (in the beginning of cata) until 3-4 weeks ago.
Armory Link:http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/s ... ran/simple
Purpose of joining (social or raiding): Raiding. I am in a guild named Sinister Ministry right now, but i am in the 2'nd group and only raiding normal. I want to progress and get better all the time.

What is your /played time and achievement points on your main character and any significant alts or previous main characters (please give the names and server of any significant alts or previous mains as well)?
My playtime on this char is 60days total time played. On level 85 i have been playing for 16days. That is because i had a break from when i had 5/6 in BWD and 4/4 in BoT.
I havent been focusing alot on achivements outside raiding so i only got 3945 achivement points.
I have 5 chars in lvl 85 here on shattered hand, all of them as alliance. My "main alt" is a priest i use to pvp on, Healigast is the name of it. I have recently got 85 on my warrior to, so i am gearing it in dps atm. I got a resto shaman too named Shamaniie that got 373~ ilvl.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am an 18years old guy named Mattias, will be 19years old in september. I like to raid, hang out with friends and sport. I'm mature for my age and have been raiding with Daemonicus, Sinister Ministry (where i am now) and Ghost division (called Sunshine Squad now) and it have never been a problem too raid with older people. I am a very positiv guy who likes to help friends and guildies in-game with what i can.

Please tell us about your raiding experience (pre-TBC, TBC and WotLK), if you didn't raid then please tell us about any other gaming experiences, be it WoW or other games:
I started to play WoW in WotLK and started to raid seriously in icc. I started too raid with some smaller guilds that never progressed and i got tierd of the game. Thats why i applyed to Ghost division and got accepted. I started to play there in group one (25man). When i got to progress the game got more fun and i started to play more again. After a wile there were short of people in Ghost division and we did not always got raid so i applyed to Daemonicus and took a raid spot there. I was there for a long time and got 12/12 hc (10man) and 9/12 hc (25man). When cata came we raided 25man in BoT and BDW, but i didnt like to play anymore so i quited. And here i am again, in a normal-farming group. A guy who wants to progress and get better all the time don't fit in there so thats why i apply to you.

Please tell us what you look for in a guild and what made you decide to apply to The Family Legion:
The most important thing in a guild is the social network, that people have fun but at the same time can be serious when it's raiding time. I wouldnt say no to nice people that helps eachother.
I have been watching some videos of your first kills in DS and it sounds like a nice group to raid with.

If you were in any other guild/guilds before applying to us, why did you leave?
I am in a guild now that has two groups in 10man raiding. I am in group two since i started to play again for not so long time ago. We are farming normal DS every week wich i think gets booring, i want to progress and get better.

What is your view on progress raiding, raiding for achievements and raiding old content?
I love to progress raiding, thats why i raid, i think achivement is a part of the progress raiding. Thats my opinion about that. ;)
I have never been this guy who likes to raid old content raids, but i wouldnt say no to do it.

We are not a hardcore guild. Which means we do not have as strict attendance requirements and sets IRL stuff first. However this leads to a bigger raid group. Ideally we want a raid group of about 15 people, which means sometimes people have to sit out. To make this fair we have a rotation system based on attendance. A more detailed explanation of the system can be found here. Is a signup system like this acceptable by you?
Absolutely, IRL has to go before the computer and i think this system might work fine for me.

We are mainly a swedish guild, a few exceptions though. This means the language used in guildchat and ventrilo tends to be swedish. Ofcourse we all know and can speak english, but question is would it be a problem for you with a large part of conversations being in swedish:
I am from Sweden so i have no problems to have a conversation in Swedish, i don't have a problem to have a converation in English either, i might not have the best english but i can speak it. ;)

Please give any further information which you may be of interest to us and may support your application:
I don't know if there is so much to say anymore, i think you had the most in questions. But as i said i am a 18year old guy who is very mature for my age, and thats what other people has told me. ;)

Thats pretty much it from me, if you have any more questions you can reach me in-game on any of my chars wich i will right again bellow and on my mail MattiasFrohm@live.com
