Please tell us a little bit about yourself:
Swedish, in my late twenties, I work, been playing wow for ~7-8 years I think, quit twice (without any success), nice social guy, most importantly a loyal
raider (had 95% attendance in the first raiding year in vanilla wow).
Please tell us about your raiding experience (pre-TBC, TBC and WotLK), if you didn't raid then please tell us about any other gaming experiences, be it WoW or other games:
pre-TBC - struggled with naxx (4 horsemen), never cleared it.
TBC - after clearing maggy I quit (paused) for 6 months, had to study harder after which our guild slowly disbanded
WotLK - found myself in an excellent swedish guild and cleared all raids, and when cata came it disbanded
Cata - struggled to find a suitable guild... no luck, disband after disband.
Now - stuck with a nice guild that is slowly shrinking day by day and raids are getting fewer.
Please tell us what you look for in a guild and what made you decide to apply to The Family Legion:
First, loyality and consistency. I need a guild that has solid core members (like me ).
Secondly, I got a friend in there and hope to make more friends.
Third and last, it helps being amongst swedish-speaking ppl.
If you were in any other guild/guilds before applying to us, why did you leave?
For the purpouse to keep playing and raiding. I have never left a guild untill we decide to disband.
What is your view on progress raiding, raiding for achievements and raiding old content?
I love new content, new challenges but I am also a achivement-freak (whenever possible), never stopped farming legendary weapons since vanilla, all as long as there is a challenge!
We are not a hardcore guild. Which means we do not have as strict attendance requirements and sets IRL stuff first. However this leads to a bigger raid group. Ideally we want a raid group of about 15 people, which means sometimes people have to sit out. To make this fair we have a rotation system based on attendance. A more detailed explanation of the system can be found here. Is a signup system like this acceptable by you?
Seems fair. I hope I get the chance to prove myself worthy enough.
We are mainly a swedish guild, a few exceptions though. This means the language used in guildchat and ventrilo tends to be swedish. Ofcourse we all know and can speak english, but question is would it be a problem for you with a large part of conversations being in swedish:
I am swedish.
